UniteUS says its latest campus outreach at the University of Miami drew “hundreds” of students who “went all in with Jesus,” followed by baptisms outside the Watsco Center in Coral Gables.
Founder Tonya Prewett wrote after the event, “God marked the University of Miami tonight! Hundreds of students made the decision to go all in with Jesus and follow up with water baptism!” UniteUS added in a separate post, “People from so many different backgrounds and walks of life came together to worship Jesus… And then to go outside afterward and watch students get baptized!!”

Who led the Miami night
According to UniteUS, Prewett preached alongside her daughter Madison Prewett Troutt and son-in-law Grant Troutt. The JWALKERS worship collective led music, including Ella Schnacky, Noah Schnacky, and Roosevelt Stewart.
What the ministry reports elsewhere
Last week, the ministry reported a similar night at Pepperdine University, saying many students confessed faith in Christ and chose baptism. UniteUS also recalls its first outreach on Sept. 12, 2023, at Auburn University, after which “hundreds” went to a local lake for spontaneous baptisms, according to the ministry’s account.
UniteUS says it has since reached more than two dozen college campuses with more than 100,000 students participating.
What’s next, per UniteUS
The ministry lists upcoming events on Oct. 13 at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and Oct. 27 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
